A Vintage chair – re-vamped and transformed into this Horrifically captivating oddity that you see before you, The Infamous ‘Ed Gein Chair’. This custom made chair is covered in latex skins and faces, hand sewn together. The latex is then painted and sealed with silicone to ensure longer life of latex and is very easy to wipe clean. Some of the faces feature crepe hair and synthetic eyelashes, please see pictures.
The chair would be an excellent addition to any horror/oddities collection, and we ship worldwide! Postage will be calculated based on buyers location. This is the original matching chair to the first Ed Gein chair I created a couple of years ago.
This gruesome creation was inspired by the American body snatcher and murderer Edward Theodore "Ed" Gein (August 27, 1906] – July 26, 1984). His crimes, committed around his hometown of Plainfield, Wisconsin, gathered widespread notoriety after authorities discovered Gein had exhumed corpses from local graveyards and fashioned trophies and keepsakes from their bones and skin. Please keep in mind this artwork was created to suit a particular taste and wont please everyone.
